• Display name you set in the app. We use this only so other players can identify you in rooms and leaderboards.
• Performance and crash data to help us fix issues and improve app quality. This data is not linked to your identity.

What we do not collect

• No precise location, contacts, photos, or other personal files.
• No payment information (payments are processed by the App Store or Google Play).
• No advertising identifiers for tracking.

How we use your data

• Display name: shown to other players in rooms and used for core gameplay and social features. In AI mode, your display name is not processed by the AI; it only uses your numerical game moves.
• Performance & crash data: diagnosing bugs, improving stability and performance.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share necessary information (like your display name) with trusted service providers, such as GetStream.io, strictly to enable the voice chat feature in rooms. Voice chat audio is not recorded or stored.

Data retention

• Your display name is stored for convenience and gameplay. You can change it anytime inside the app.
• Aggregated, non-identifying performance and crash logs may be kept for analytics and product improvement.

Your choices

• Change your display name in-app at any time.

Children’s privacy

Brink is intended for a general audience. If you believe a child has provided personal information beyond a display name, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. We’ll update the effective date above and, when appropriate, notify you in-app.
